One of the best parts about any vacation is the food. Getting to try new things and eating at new exciting restaurants is what I really look forward to doing in new places.
While on vacation at Redondo Beach we had the pleasure of gorging ourselves on the best food the city has to offer. It’s been about two weeks and the thing we talk about the most is the delicious food we had the pleasure of partaking in. Here is the low down on some particular dining you will not want to miss out on during your next trip to Redondo.
Casual Dining:
Polly’s on the Pier: This is a local favorite that you surely don’t want to miss. Polly’s is notorious for their filling breakfasts so we decided to give it a try on our last morning in town. The omelets are fantastic and Reid really enjoyed his biscuits and gravy, mainly because of their gigantic size. It’s located directly on the pier (hence it’s name) so sitting outside and enjoying the scenery is a must. It’s also fairly low priced so it’s great for those on a budget.

Although I have traveled all over the world, sometimes adventures I have found were right in my backyard.  What better place to play this summer than Atlanta! The capitol of Georgia is known for its sports, recreation and entertainment (and yes the traffic!).
Many know of the most popular attractions such as The Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, Zoo Atlanta, Stone Mountain Park and the Atlanta Botanical Garden. But there are also some hidden treasures I’ve found as well in Atlanta and its many suburbs that have earned accolades by their own right. Many of these attractions are offering summer discounts and packages as well.
Here are a just few of these treasures:
Atlanta History Center in Buckhead features 32 acres of gardens, wildlife trails and woodland areas and includes a wing dedicated to the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games.
Fernbank Museum of Natural History is a museum treasure! Guests can explore the development of life on Earth through the landscapes of present-day Georgia, connect with cultures from around the globe, engage in a variety of hands-on exhibits and enjoy the incredible 5-story experience of an IMAX® film. Fun for the whole family!
