For me, going to a luau is one of those things that makes me feel like I am finally in Hawaii! It's not like you'll be going to a luau in the Bahamas, or Mexico right? If you have a chance, I highly recommend the Old Lahaina Luau. We've been to several luaus on 3 different Hawaiian islands, and this one was by far the best one we've ever been to! You are right on about a luau being worth paying for! For me, going to a luau is one of those things that makes me feel like I am finally in Hawaii!
