Some people may not realize that Las Vegas is a great destination option for family vacations. I remember as a kid visiting Las Vegas and being excited by all the lights, glitz and glamour. Of course my parents did all they could to carefully shield us away from the half naked showgirls in the lobbies, but being young and naïve we barely even noticed. Think about all the fantastic swimming pools, roller coasters, arcades and shops that they have strewn about the strip- it’s a kid’s paradise disguised as an adult playhouse!
Even the littlest Vegas go-ers can enjoy some time on the strip. There are many activities and attractions that babies and toddlers will enjoy. Here is a list of a few toddler friendly Las Vegas activities:

Wicked Spoon buffet at the Cosmopolitan
It’s hard to pinpoint the “best” of anything in Las Vegas. Especially when it comes to buffets, as it is the most prominent and publicized dining option in Las Vegas. Also, there are so many determining factors when choosing the best. The best could be best value, or best price. It could also be the most popular or gets the best reviews. Don’t forget food quality, and best variety and selection. It would be almost impossible to base it on all of these factors and put out a true list of best buffets in Las Vegas.
So instead, when putting together this list I imagined you all as my close friends. Often time friends and readers come to me for referrals to hotels and restaurants and I don’t want to let them down. Because it’s all about the experience and kitschy Las Vegas feel, I chose five buffets that excite me and that I truly enjoy going to, and hope you will benefit from this list and be able to stuff your face with delicious and satisfying food and not smuggle home some tomatoes and bread rolls to throw at me later.
So here is our pick for top five best buffets in Las Vegas, in no particular order of course:
Village Buffet at the Paris Hotel Las Vegas. The Village Buffet has been voted Best in Las Vegas by the Las Vegas Review Journal for the past three consecutive years. We love this buffet because it’s a little different than your typical five-station set up with cuisine being represented from different countries. No, you will only find the best in regional French specialties. And the dishes are much better than your average buffet fare. We love the atmosphere and cutesy décor. It’s great for those who have always wanted to try French food but haven’t known where to start. The price is pretty great too, considering it’s in the middle of the strip and only $25* for dinner.

It’s really hard for me to choose favorites in this world of so much beauty and luxury but we both have agreed that the Curtis Hotel in Denver is indeed one of our favorites. It has everything we look for when choosing a hotel. Personality, color, flavor and of course free warm cookies. We do tend to congregate to a more modern flair when it comes to hotel choices and that’s why we adored the Curtis. Not only is it modern but it’s fun for everyone of all ages.

I don’t drink, but we are fascinated with factory tours (see here or here) so we couldn’t miss the chance to take a free tour of the Coors Brewery during our recent trip to Denver.
The Coors Brewery is located in Golden, Colorado which is just a short 20-30 minute drive outside of Denver. Interestingly, the Coors Brewery is the largest single site brewery in the world. This means they malt their own barley, brew and package all in one place. The tour consists of seeing all the different processes and stages that beer goes through. Halfway through the tour they offer a fresh beer sample (about 2 ounces) and let you cool off in a refrigerated room (I guess it can get warm in the summer time).
